How we collect, use and protect the information you share with us.

What we collect, and what we do with it
Written for the way this business actually works: most of what we hold arrives in one phone call, about someone who is not the person calling.
This policy explains how Bail Bond Central (CA Bail License #6015872) handles personal information collected through https://bailbondcentral.net and through the calls and forms that start on it. It applies to this website. It does not cover the separate paperwork you sign if you go ahead with a bond, which carries its own disclosures.
Who we are
Bail Bond Central is a licensed California bail bond agency with its principal office at 302 S. Milliken Ave Ste E1, Ontario, CA 91761, and a second office at 3890 11th St #219, Riverside, CA 92501. We are the business responsible for the information described here. You can reach us at (909) 310-3370, at bailbondcentralcorp@gmail.com, or through our contact page.
What we collect
Information you give us
The forms on this site ask for your name, your phone number and the defendant's name, and — if you know them — the defendant's approximate age and the jail or location. We do not ask for your email address. Two of those forms — the quote request and the inmate-search request — post to the same place and are handled the same way. If you call rather than write, an agent takes the same details by phone.
If you go on to apply for a bond we will need considerably more, including identification and financial information from whoever co-signs. That is collected in the application itself rather than through this website, and it is governed by the agreement you sign.
Information about someone else
This is unavoidable in our business and worth stating plainly: most enquiries are made by one person about another. When you give us a defendant's name, the facility they are held in or details of their arrest, you are giving us personal information about a third party. We use it only to look them up, to quote for the bond, and to post it. Please only give us information you are entitled to share.
What we collect automatically
Our host, Cloudflare, records standard technical data for every request — IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This is how the site is served and how abuse and denial-of-service traffic is filtered. Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which performs a challenge in the background to establish that a submission came from a person rather than a script.
We advertise on Google and on Microsoft Bing, and this site carries their measurement tags — the Google tag for Google Ads, and Microsoft Advertising's UET tag — so that we can tell which ads lead people to contact us. They record that a page was visited, that a form was submitted, or that a phone number on the site was tapped, together with the technical data your browser sends and identifiers stored in cookies. They never receive what you typed into a form. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, neither tag loads.
Where analytics are enabled, we also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used and how people arrive, and where it is enabled, a Meta pixel records that a form was submitted. Neither is loaded unless it has been configured, and neither receives the contents of your enquiry.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use what you give us to respond to your enquiry, to search for someone in a county system, to prepare and administer a bail bond, to take payment, to keep in contact about a case while the bond is in force, and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed bail agency in California. We also use technical data to keep the site available and to defend it against abuse.
We do not use your information to market unrelated products, and we do not send bulk email. If you contact us and decide not to go ahead, we are not going to chase you about it for years.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we never have. We share it only where the work requires it:
- The surety insurer behind the bond, and any underwriting general agent, where an application proceeds.
- Jails and courts, to the extent needed to locate a defendant, post a bond and administer it.
- Service providers who run parts of this site on our behalf — our host and security provider, our transactional email provider, our analytics provider where enabled, and our payment processors. They act on our instructions.
- Google and Microsoft, which receive the advertising-measurement data described above — never the contents of a form.
- Regulators and law enforcement, where we are required to by law, by subpoena, or by the California Department of Insurance.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bonds are kept only as long as they are useful and are then deleted. Records connected to a bond are kept for as long as the bond is in force and afterwards for the period a licensed bail agency is required to retain them, which is measured in years rather than months. Server logs are short-lived and are retained by our host on its own schedule.
Cookies
Cloudflare may set a cookie necessary to security and to the Turnstile challenge. The Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising tags set advertising cookies, used to measure whether an ad led to a visit, a form or a call; if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, those tags do not load and set nothing. Where analytics are enabled, Google Analytics sets cookies that measure visits in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works without them, and the forms still submit.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy, form submissions are rate limited and challenged, and access to enquiry data is limited to the agents who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but a bail enquiry is a sensitive thing to send anyone, and we treat it that way.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and why, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted, subject to the records we are legally required to keep. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell it. The advertising measurement described above may count as sharing under California law, so we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out: when your browser sends one, the Google and Microsoft advertising tags do not load. You can also opt out by contacting us as below. Exercising any of these rights will never lead to worse service or a worse price.
To make a request, call (909) 310-3370 or email bailbondcentralcorp@gmail.com with enough detail for us to find your records. We will verify who you are before we act, because much of what we hold concerns other people as well.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Where an enquiry concerns a minor in custody, the information is provided by an adult acting on their behalf.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update it here and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described rather than slipped in.
